What types of therapy do you offer?

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Dialectable Behavioral Therapy. My client-centered approach focuses on creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.

Who do you work with?

I primarily work with adolescents 13+, veterans, and adults. Most of my work has been with the veteran population. If you’re unsure whether my services are right for you, feel free to reach out for a consultation.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please reach out to me directly. I kindly ask for at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations. If you cancel within less than 12 hours, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged at the time of your appointment.

That said, I understand that unexpected situations arise—I offer your first late cancellation for free if you’re in a bind. My priority is supporting you, so if something comes up, let’s talk. I know that not everything can be planned, and I’m here to work with you.

Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

I currently offer in-person sessions in Mesa and/or online sessions for clients in Arizona.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by emailing me, calling my office, or booking online via Simple Practice. If you’re a new client, I recommend a brief consultation to ensure we’re a good fit.

What are your rates, and do you accept insurance?

My rates are $165 for an hour session. I do accept insurance. If I am out-of-network, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. I accept the following insurance at this time:

  • Carelon Behavioral Health

  • Cigna and Evernorth

  • Quest Behavioral Health

What should I expect in the first session?

The first session is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, goals, and background. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy and how we can work together to support your healing journey.

How long are therapy sessions?

Sessions typically last 53 minutes. However, extended sessions may be available upon request.

How often should I attend therapy?

This depends on your needs. Most clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions, and we adjust as progress is made.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a priority. However, there are exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others or if required by law (e.g., suspected abuse or court orders).

How can therapy help me?

Therapy can provide support, coping strategies, and insights to help navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and personal growth. It’s a collaborative process tailored to your unique needs.

Do you provide therapy for couples or families?

Yes/No – My practice focuses on individual therapy and family therapy. If you need couples therapy, I can provide referrals to trusted providers.

Do you offer therapy for veterans?

Yes, I have experience working with veterans and offer specialized support for issues related to military service, PTSD, and life transitions.
